So I've been working at a Children's hospital for the last month. Over here we get to work with different residents from different institutions. I've never realized how lazy some residents can be. The thing that blows my mind is that they're General Surgery residents. General surgeons aren't suppose to be lazy, you can't be. If you want to be lazy then you go to another field of practice. When there's work to be done, don't shirk it off to your colleague. You shouldn't be scared to see patients or to go into the operating room to operate. This is what you want your profession to be. Maybe it's just me but when I'm somewhere to work, I work. And if someone on your team is getting slammed with excess work, it's only common courtesy to help out. The way some of these interns react to work is annoying, I am so close to hitting somebody.
On a happy note. My boy Euge is getting married this weekend. I'm heading out there today to meet up with all my old friends. It's going to be real cool to see everybody. I wish my girl "ahem" was coming with me too. But yeah... I'm just really happy for him. He's the first out of all of us.
